Who doesn’t love satay? Sate aka satay is one of my favorite dish in the world. Maybe I’m sharing too much food for you, but this one is different. Sate Matang, is a traditional food from Bireun (one of district in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam Province). But you don’t have to go to Bireun for having a super delicate and delicious of Sate Matang. Sate Matang also available in Banda Aceh. Candra always share about satay and I bet he also loves satay. Luckily, I could taste another type of satay. So, here are my review.

THE REVIEW
MEAT — Sate Matang, made from meat beef or lamb that chopped with bigger size than usual satay . A plate of Sate Matang contain of 10 pieces skewers. And its taste incredible! Its meat is legit.
PEANUT SAUCE — Its peanut sauce is slightly sweet but not crushed enough.
SERVING METHOD — This satay served by white rice instead of rice cake. Broth soup is also served with Sate Matang. Its taste like typical soup, but with strong spices. Topped with scallion.

TIPS
As usual, Aceh culinary always completed with slices of lime. Don’t forget to squeeze the lime over the satay, okay?
