Batam getaway (part 3)

In continuation of Batam Getaway Part 2, I’m back here again with the rest of our (food and non food) pics in Batam. I’m sorry if it sounds boring to you, but I’m doing my best to make this post as light as possible. Hehee.
The day was started with breakfast in Biz Hotel’s 11th floor open-air rooftop. The view from the 11th floor was simply amazing and we did love the al-fresco atmosphere, but the wind was too strong that we could hardly enjoy our food. The buffet stations were setup under the roof and the tables were placed in every corner under and outside the roof.
Food selection was not a lot, we had fruits, noodle soup, porridge, and green bean soup.
Food taste was moderate and was not as expected, but fulfilling enough. They cooked very good chicken curry which we had quite a lot. More than the delicious chicken curry (not in the pic) and the picturesque landscape of the town from the 11th floor, the staffs too were very nice and accommodating.
We spent like 30 mins up there and purposely left the tummy half full, quickly stomped back to the room and prepared for our next destination.
There’s no doubt that this trip is a food trip. We did nothing but EAT. Lunch time was approaching and as planned before, we went back to Love Seafood Restaurant and pigged out on seafood again for lunch. Although Love Seafood is located a fair bit distance from the city, but we LOVE driving out there and enjoyed one of the most charming scenery of Batam like this! Don’t you guys agree with us?
So, there we reached Love Seafood! What a scenery! But too bad, the weather was equally hot on our 2nd day.
Likewise with Sumber Rezeki Restaurant, the tables and chairs here were also put at the patio above the seashore. This place is obviously more spacious and could cater more people not only the local, but the tourists as well.
This was the 2nd time me and the gang dined in there. It was so memorable and mind-blowing during our previous visit, so was this time around.
If you don’t trust us, pls take a look at the seafood spread below! And if this doesn’t tempt you enough, LOOK again! LOL.

Well, lets start!
I kid you not, they have the most delicious Garlic Scallops in town, if not the world!
We ordered 2 portions and still feel that it wasn’t enough. The garlic scallops alone worth our trip up there. They were so so good, so smooth and so buttery!

Next on, Garlic Fried Chicken made its appearance again LOL! Can’t think of other more interesting things to say, this chicken deserves only the word, “DELICIOUS”.

Unlike our Medan style Buttered Prawn, this Batam version was a bit similar to our cereal prawn which the prawns were like coated by cereal flakes. Taste wise was only average and the prawns size was small too. Not our favorite though.
And starting from here on, I’ll just let below pictures do the talking. So please sit back and enjoy 🙂

Another seafood feast was completed, means that another craving was satisfied.
But this is not the end of the day YET, I still have another food pictures to be put up here on my next post!
Bye for now and see you all again soon 🙂
Note : This post does not consist of the price of each dish, as we somehow forgot to get the bill from the restaurant.
